Weigh in Wednesday

Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans

  • I almost didn't weigh in today.
  • I really was not motivated all week long to exercise.
  • So I did not exercise and I ate a bunch of junk.
  • Somehow I managed to not gain weight.
  • I feel like I am not taking this seriously.
  • Do I really want to lose weight? Of course.
  • Am I willing to sacrifice in order to do so? Apparently not.
  • Thankfully, I realize that this is a journey, a marathon not a sprint.
  • I am used to losing weight pretty easily.
  • It is hard to realize that I am getting older and my body does not work like that anymore.
  • I decided to make a list as to why I want to lose weight:
  1. I want to look good in my sister's wedding
  2. I want to look good for my husband
  3. I want to look good for myself
  4. I want to fit into my clothes again
  5. I want to be at a reasonable weight before I get pregnant again
  6. I want to stop being paranoid about the way people see me

Those are ALL great reasons to lose weight! Are you serious about it or are you serious about it?!!!!

focus on your reasons and then find a way to make it happen! maybe focusing on the baby part will help you find the motivation you need?

Those are good reasons (though I might hope that looking good...and feeling good...for yourself would be #1)

You're right about the marathon, and you just need to regroup. As long as you can maintain while regrouping, you're doing great.

You can do it!!!! All of those reasons are excellent! Mine are the same plus feeling better about myself, being in better health, and oh yeah... I'd love bathing suit shopping to be a hell of a lot easier!!!

Catie you are BEAUTIFUL :) I find when I lose complete motivation that I take it really easy and just start out with walking or something simple just to get used to making the time for working out again and then the motivation comes along with it once you can talk yourself into a short walk :)
