My Birthday

Sorry to keep you all waiting about my BIG surprise! It was amazing!! Before we arrived at our first destination, I had all these scenarios in my head. One included a couples massage (which we didn't get) another included some of his friends (which thankfully they were not involved). So, I was pleasantly surprised by what we did do. It WAS an overnight stay, which was much needed and he managed to keep the whole thing a secret until we pulled into the hotel parking lot. Although he did tell me that we were staying overnight somewhere, so that I could pack an overnight bag. However, somehow in all of my excitement I managed to forget most of my toiletries. That's right, no deodorant or toothbrush for me! How romantic.
